What is a LAN party and what makes LANdu different?
A LAN party is a big ol’ hangout where people bring their own PCs or consoles, plug into the same network, and game the day (and night) away. Old-school multiplayer mayhem with snacks and face-to-face smack talk.
What makes LANdu special? We keep it chill, fun, and open to everyone, sweaty tryhards and cozy vibers alike. It’s not just the games; it’s the people. Community first, good times always, playing everything from classics to chaos.
Is LANdu family-friendly?
Yep! LANdu is all-ages friendly. No gatekeeping, no toxic nonsense, just a wholesome(-ish) good time. Bring the fam!
What games do you usually play at LANdu?
We aim for a good mix—staples plus surprises. Expect the usual favorites like:
- PUBG
- Rocket League
- Smash Bros
- Street Fighter
Then we add new releases, old-school hits, and a few wild cards. Check the Games page for what’s lined up next.
Can I bring board games or card games?
Sure! Most of the action is on-screen, but we usually have a table or two set up for board games or a quick card session between matches. Bring your favorite if you’re keen.
How do I sign up for games?
- Make an account on our site.
- Head to the Games page.
- Click on the game you want to enter, then smash the Register button.
We’ll confirm everyone ~15 minutes before each comp starts.
Registering helps us set up brackets and keep score without using pen and paper.
Is it actually free?
Yep! Entry is free, and we’ll have plenty of preset PCs ready to go. Bringing your own PC? Awesome—let us know so we can save you a spot.
We also have hire PCs if you want a dedicated setup between comps. A few featured competitions are pay-to-enter, and snacks or drinks may be purchaed.
